So, evolution. Most Pokemon evolve by leveling, so when your Pokemon comes of the right level, you can tell a staff member and they'll do a little evolving thing for you. If you don't want your Pokemon to evolve, then tell a staff member that your Pokemon is at the level to evolve but you don't want it to. Staff will do an alternate evolving thing for you where your Pokemon does not evolve. This goes for Trainer's Pokemon and Pokemon characters.
For Pokemon who evolve by stones, you must have the correct stone in your inventory. Let's say you want to evolve an Eevee into a Vaporeon. You need the Water Stone to do so. Tell a staff member that you have used the appropriate stone on your Pokemon and staff will do an evolving thing for you after checking that yes, the correct stone was used.
For Pokemon that evolve by happiness, all Pokemon start at 0 friendliness (unless you got your Pokemon through a critical capture, then they start with 100 friendliness). After 20 battles with that Pokemon (or 15 with an critically-captured Pokemon), you may inform a staff member that your Pokemon is ready to evolve. After checking to make sure that your Pokemon has been involved in 20 battles, staff will do an evolving thing for you.
For Pokemon that evolve by trading, they will now evolve by happiness. Kadabra will evolve into Alakazam at 255 happiness, which is the max happiness level. At 0 friendliness, that will take 20 battles. With a critically-captured Pokemon, that will take 15 battles.
For Pokemon that evolve at max happiness at a certain time of day, get your Pokemon to correct amount of happiness by battling as stated above at the time of day you want your Pokemon to evolve at, and then tell a staff member. If staff sees that your Pokemon is at the right happiness, they will ask you if you would like your Pokemon to evolve at that time. Let's say you want your Eevee to evolve into an Umbreon. If it is day, staff will evolve your Eevee into Espeon (which you can stop if you ask staff politely to stop the evolution beforehand). Any time past dusk is when your Eevee will evolve into Umbreon. Staff will do an evolving thing for you.
